These are original Woodrow Nash pieces, each with a Certificate of Authenticity. We conduct a Scratch and Ding auction annually, sometimes biannually, to liquidate our inventory. This auction began in response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic.

Please read these rules carefully as they apply to both our ‘Sealed Bid’ and ‘Ascending Bid’ auction formats:

1. Sealed Bid Auction: In this format, you can place a bid without other users seeing your offer. We will provide a reserve value for each piece. If interested, you should set your highest and best offer. At the auction’s conclusion (typically 10 Days), Woodrow Nash Studios will notify the customer of their win. The winning bidder then has 48 business hours to complete the payment process.
2. Ascending Bid Auction: This is a traditional auction format where you can see the current highest bid and place a higher bid if you choose. To ensure fairness and give everyone a fair chance to respond, our system extends the auction by two minutes if a bid is placed within the last two minutes of the scheduled closing time. This extension will continue until no new bids are placed within the final two minutes. The auction concludes when the highest bidder is declared the winner at the end of this extension period.

General Rules for Both Formats:

• Participation Fee: Woodrow Nash Studios charges a nominal $1 fee to your credit card as a one-time fee to participate in the “Scratch and Ding Auction.”
• Payment Deadline: Winning bidders have 48 business hours to complete the payment process. Failure to do so results in forfeiture of the bid, and the next highest bidder may be allowed to make a purchase.
• Woodrow Nash Studios will ban bidders who forfeit on the auction from future Woodrow Nash Studios Auctions.
• Non-Payment Penalty: At our discretion, we reserve the right to charge your card $500 or the cost of the winning bid, whichever is lower, should you decide not to honor your winning bid. Please do not bid if you do not agree to these terms.
• Age Requirement: All auction participants must be at least 18.
• Shipping and Handling: Woodrow Nash Studios will securely package the item after successful payment. A separate freight quote will be prepared and sent to the customer for delivery arrangements. Once the freight cost is paid, the item will be shipped to the provided address unless otherwise specified. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
